Normally the yell for the new year is: ”New year, new me”. Not for me, there is no new me. Just an improved version. One I am falling more and more in love with everyday. The new year does come with something else new though.
The new year comes with new days. New unwritten days. New days mean new opportunities and new chances. Chances to create more happiness, gain more prosperity and realize more dreams. I am determined to not let a day go to waste. That’s why I am changing the approach this year. No more knowing what I want but starting in May. No, the year starts in January therefor so do I.
In order to assure this happens I’ve broken my goals up once again. Well actually I’ve made little checkpoints for myself. I’ve set a goal for each month. Some of those have to do with the ones I’m already working on, just because it worked out that way, but most are new. I know, this sounds a lot like I’m again overfilling my months and thus my days. I’m not, I promise I have learned my lesson.
I’m calling these checkpoints: ”Glory-moments”. I’m taking a moment every month to see how far I am in general, with all the goals I’ve set. To figure out what went right, what went wrong and whether or not I need to change something. I figured this will help me stay on top of everything in a calm matter. Fingers crossed that it works! Another thing I am doing during my Glory-moments is reviewing whether I accomplished my goal for that month.
Every last Friday of the month I’ll take a moment for my Glory-moment. My goal for this month is to finish the two things I was suppose to finish December 31st. I really hope I make it. Scratch that, I’m going to give it everything I have in order to make it.
A new year has begon, but we’re continuing on the same path. At least, I know I am.
