To start is the hardest part. At least that’s what I’ve been told over half a dozen times. But if you’re well prepared it shouldn’t be that hard, right? I mean, I know what I want and I have determined how to reach it. All there is left to do is to start. Pretty straightforward if you ask me. However this is life and the things that are straightforward in life are easily counted. Depending on what you’re starting it could be easy-peasy or ”uhmm I’ll start tomorrow”. What if you just continue writing your story?
Thinking about how it took me a little over five months to start My Story Of I, it doesn’t seem so pretty straightforward anymore that ”just starting”. The saying might be right, starting might be the hardest part, but what if we look at it differently. The start isn’t really now. Your story started the second you were born. Which makes starting now a simple continuation of your story writing. Instead of thinking so heavily in starting a new chapter, business, relationship we could think of it as ”With this I continue My Story Of I”.
The only difference is the way it is being written. Instead of having it being written by anyone but you, it is now written only by you. Which means that the plans made, only need to be transferred to reality. The only way to do that is to put the plan into action. To get super cliché, it is simply starting a new chapter in a book that had one chapter that was becoming way too long. Thinking about it like that doesn’t frighten me. It excites me. Which is a great feeling to start, correction, continue writing my story with. What do you think?
Now, it is time to write.
Love,
DCPR.
