Why The Difference Between When and If Matters A Lot

It’s not usual for me to start with a question but then again what is usual? Anyways, are there certain events that you really want to see happen? If you were almighty and could manifest whatever you wanted, what would you definitely make happen? Those are the events at hand right now, well actually they are always at hand. As sure as you are that you want them to happen that’s how badly it needs to be reflected in your speech (find four more ways to better your speech). I too am guilty of not always properly speaking of them in that way. There is one thing I do that especially needs to be filtered out, perhaps you do it too. We need to speak when and not if.

I speak of my goals in two ways. In a manner of β€˜β€™If’’ or β€˜β€™When’’. Through realizing that our words have power the difference became more important. Not that I didn’t know before, just now I am more prominently aware of it with the help of some research which you are finding right here (to know more about the power of words click here). First let’s start with a definition. The definition of β€˜β€™If’’’ according to Merriam-Webster is the following:

Definition from Merriam-Webster

I strongly believe that β€˜β€™If’’’ needs to be nowhere near your vocabulary when speaking of the dreams you want to manifest. β€˜β€™If’’’ Implies a condition which means uncertainty. It’s exactly there where there are problems. If you are sure that you want to live that dream then why tie it to conditions? The only condition that you can tie it to is the one of being alive for many tomorrows but that is if you’re asking me. To me, all other conditions fall in vain compared to the dream.

definition-of-when
Definition from Merriam-Webster

Let’s look at the definition of β€˜β€™When’’. All 3 of the definitions indicate certainty and exactness. Exactness as in a date or a time. That is what you and I need to be going for. Speaking in terms of β€˜β€™When’’ and not β€˜β€™If’’. With β€˜β€™When’’ it can be looked up on a calendar, which makes it also more tangible. So instead of saying β€˜β€™If …, then … Β .β€˜β€™ say β€˜β€™When … , then … .’’.

Even in the case when you are 10000% unsure about the how, what, when still speak when and not if. Even when there are a gazillion things to do before you get to the item after the β€˜β€™When’’ still speak when and not if. Why? Simple, because you know you want the dream to manifest. That really is the only reason one needs. Ohh and this one;

You don’t have to know everything, you do however have to be capable of finding out. As long as you’re capable of finding out, you will always be fine.

Words have power, use it to you advantage. Speak when and not if.

Ps. Here you can find how your verb tenses influence your manifestation.
