Lately the thing that has been most on my mind for the topic of Write Your Story is knowing your passion and the realization of it. Basically what the entire segment is about, however the thing with passions is first you have to know what yours is and second how do you go about realizing it. The first part is hard enough as it is, but the second part is even harder. There are so many questions, doubts and fears that come along with knowing you want to pursue your passion. If that is not enough you definitely need an unexplainable drive to get you through.
Knowing your passion and knowing you want to pursue it is a very daunting decision to make. Once you have made the decision the questions start rising. The main question is ”How?”. ”How am I or you going to realize this dream? How am I going to make others see my dream the way I see it? How am I going to make sure I can potentially make a living with my passion?” After those questions make their stage debut, the questions of the definite undeniable risk come out to play. ”Will I succeed? Is it worth it? Can I make it happen? Am I not wasting my time? Is this really what I want?”
All those questions are daunting but the one that gets the crown is: ‘’How am I going to make this happen?’’. Which is the most logical question after deciding to want to make a change. Now I have said many times to write things down and to make a plan, which I still stand by but there is something else you need to have. This unexplainable drive. It goes far beyond motivation or willingness. It is a drive that makes you believe and know that you are capable of achievement. I somehow feel that if you are lacking this unexplainable drive that you need to wonder whether what you are doing is really your passion. Is it really what you want?
This drive will get you through the hard times, even through the moments when you have found ways of countering your motivational drive. It will make sure that you find an answer to the crown question: ‘’How am I going to make it happen?’’. Better yet it is part of the answer. I fail to be able to correctly explain this drive. I just know that you need it. You need to find this flame, this drive in you that basically says: ‘’No matter what happens, I am going to continue and I will be victorious.’’
Once you have found it, hold onto it. Listen to it and most of all believe it.
